Mechron Power Systems is the US and Canadian distributor for CARM 2000 Chemical Agent Resistant Material. CARM 2000 is intended to provide protection for equipment from nuclear, biological and chemical NBC agents. By providing a physical barrier, CARM 2000 offers total protection from liquid contamination produced by chemical agent droplets falling through the atmosphere. This makes CARM 2000 highly suitable for protecting vehicles and equipment in any war zone scenario where chemical, bacteriological or nuclear fallout is possible. It is also ideally suited for many applications within today's modern battlefield environment because it offers the following additional features:
- Flame Retardant
- UV Resistant
- Infra-Red Reflectant (IRR)
- Two colour sided option
- Various camouflage properties
- Extremely Strong
- Lightweight and easy to handle
- Thermally stable from -40°C to 75°C; a range of 115°C
- Highly resistant to piercing, puncturing or tearing

Individual sections of CARM 2000 can be joined with an air/water tight interface which offers the end user full flexibility of the modular system. CARM 2000 can be tailored to fit specific equipment to ensure complete protection and quick deployment.
