The CCS Lightning System provides a cost-effective way to reduce truck idling in Class 8 trucks. Based on proven auxiliary power unit (APU) technology, CCS Lightning can save up to 0.8 gallons (3L) of fuel every hour. By reducing idling time by 5 hours per day, 1,450 gallons (5500L) of fuel can be saved every year.
